Ben Crenshaw Remodel

This Westlake remodel was all about creating a home that felt elevated, warm, and completely intentional. Working alongside Adrienne Kane Design, we reworked the layout, incorporated custom cabinetry, and focused on the details that make a renovation feel cohesive from room to room.

The kitchen received a completely new layout designed to improve flow, storage, and functionality. Custom cabinetry was built to take advantage of the ceiling height and give the room a more substantial, finished appearance. The light perimeter cabinets paired with the warm wood island, quartz countertops, brass hardware, and oversized pendant lights created a clean look without making the space feel cold.

The island became the centerpiece of the kitchen, adding prep space, storage, and seating while giving the room a natural gathering point. Every cabinet, appliance location, and work area was planned around how the homeowners would use the kitchen day to day.

The bathroom was transformed with the same attention to detail. We built a large custom shower with floor-to-ceiling tile, frameless glass, a built-in bench, recessed niche, handheld shower, and warm brass fixtures. The soft, neutral finishes keep the space calm and timeless, while the custom cabinetry and detailed tile work give it a more refined feel.

This Westlake, Austin project is a great example of what we love doing at Fit Build Construction: taking an existing home, improving how it functions, and executing the design so every element feels intentional and connected. The result is a warm, polished home designed to support the way the homeowners live every day.
